Northern Ontario Fisherman project co-ordinator, Bill Rivers, has written about and promoted Northern Ontario sportfishing for more than 30 years - in print and online - with more than 400 articles published in a number of fishing magazines, tourism publications, newspapers and on digital platforms.

Additionally, Bill has prepared editorial content and promotional materials for a number Northern Ontario outfitters and tourism agencies. Stakeholder references can be provided upon request.

Specializing in Northern Ontario fly-in and semi-remote fishing destinations, Bill has worked with more than fifty Northern Ontario fishing outfitters. On a broader scale, Bill has also worked with the provincial tourism ministries of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec on sportfishing, golf, travel and tourism media promotion projects.

A past member and Central Canada Director for the Outdoor Writers of Canada, Bill is now retired, but continues to promote Northern Ontario fishing and tourism, occasionally working on site with Northern Ontario fishing outfitters.
